Canada makes first FIBA World Cup semis<br /><br />RJ Barrett says any player from the Canadian men's basketball team can be a key to their victory.<br /><br />Against Slovenia in the quarterfinals at the Mall of Asia Arena on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023, four players from Canada scored in double digits as they hacked out a 100-89 win to make their first FIBA Basketball World Cup semifinals stint. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 31 points and 10 rebounds followed by Barret who had 24 makers and nine boards.
