Hundreds of travellers are being held up at Glasgow Airport due to increased security checks amid a UK-wide hunt for a terrorist suspect.<br /><br />A serving member of the British Army was arrested in relation to terrorism offences but escaped from HMP Wandsworth on 6 September.<br /><br />A number if UK airports are implementing extra security checks during the search. <br /><br />Next up, bin men are refusing to collect rubbish from a street in Scotstoun because it’s overrun with rats. <br /><br />Earl Street is currently facing an infestation, with residents claiming the council is ignoring them.<br /><br />While the issue came from the back court, bins have now been moved to the front while rodents are still being spotted. <br /><br />And in other news, Maggie May’s in Glasgow is undergoing a £500,000 refurbishment and is set to become a country bar.<br /><br />Plans will see the venue become an authentic saloon complete with a Bucking bronco where customers will be able to win prizes. <br />
