It was a long haul to rescue a badger that plunged through a manhole cover at a school.<br /><br />The foraging animal had fallen eight feet into the bottom of the hole and was found by gardeners at Edgeborough School in Frensham, Surrey.<br /><br />They called the RSPCA who had the tricky task of lassoing the animal behind its front paws and hauling it up into a cage.
