Bizarre footage shows a work van weaving through a traveller camp on Richmond Green - as sirens are heard in the background.<br /><br />Passer-by Alicia, 21, watched on as the scene unfolded in south-west London last week.<br /><br />The traveller camp sprang up on the green in the posh area last week, but has since moved on.<br /><br />But Alicia wanted to share the clip as she said it was "unsettling".<br /><br />She said: "This usually a very quiet area.<br /><br />“The green is surrounded by multimillion pound houses so it was just very interesting to see other people’s reactions. <br /><br />“People in the area were quite shocked - but we sat at a distance just observing.” <br /><br />Richmond is reportedly home to wealthy residents including Mick Jagger, Tom Hardy and Richard E. Grant.<br /><br />The traveller group - consisting of more than 20 caravans - arrived on the green on Wednesday (13/9).<br /><br />They were there for just over 24 hours before being removed by the council on Thursday evening (14/9).<br /><br />Alicia said: “We saw a car start driving recklessly around the green and swerving around."<br /><br />The Met confirmed it attended the scene on Wednesday evening after being "notified that a group of vehicles had gained access to Richmond Green".
