Three men have been arrested as police launch a murder investigation after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Wolverhampton.<br /><br />Police and paramedics rushed to a house on Warnford Walk in the city at 4.30pm on Monday (18/9) where they found the teenager with knife wounds.<br /><br />Officers desperately tried to give the boy CPR and paramedics battled to save him but he was declared dead at the scene.<br /><br />Two 22-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of murder and a 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.<br /><br />A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “Officers who attended the address gave CPR and he was treated by paramedics but sadly the 16-year-old was declared dead at the scene.<br /><br />“His family are being supported by specialist officers at this awful time and are being updated as our murder investigation continues today.”<br /><br />A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 4.28pm to reports of a stabbing at a private address on Warnford Walk in Penn, Wolverhampton. <br /><br />“One ambulance, a paramedic officer, the Midland Air Ambulance from Cosford attended the scene.<br /><br />"Upon arrival we found a teenage male who was assessed and had sustained life-threatening injuries. <br /><br />“He received advanced life support from ambulance staff at the scene. <br /><br />“Unfortunately, despite the best efforts it became clear that nothing more could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased."
