We just arrived on La Gomera the day before, after a long trip over from Valencia and we already set out early for our first hike on this volcanic island. <br /><br />Of course we had first a strengthening breakfast and we were in no major rush since the trailhead started right below our hotel. Bellies filled, hiking boots strapped on and off we went.<br /><br />We couldn't have picked a better first hike on La Gomera. Descending from Imada down the gorge took our breath away, several time!
