Thieves stole £405k ($500k) worth of jewellery by using a "jammer" to bypass security systems, according to the owner.<br /><br />A video captured on a hidden Ring camera shows the nonchalant criminals making off with the goods.<br /><br />The incident occurred at Mint Jewelers by Boodaddy Diamonds in Hollywood, Florida, USA in the early hours of September 16.<br /><br />Shop owner Christopher Petrillo said the thieves stole "close to about half a million dollars."<br /><br />Christopher added that the group of thieves made their way into the building through the back door.<br /><br />They used a sophisticated machine, Christopher described as a "big jamming device, like a bomb almost, with 15 antennas and it was plugged into my alarm system."<br /><br />Despite cutting the wires of all of the CCTV units in the building, a remote doorbell camera was still recording in the shop.<br /><br />The Ring doorbell camera managed to record the whole heist in high definition.<br /><br />The thieves eventually saw the camera but it was too late - while they still made off with the goods, they left DNA and fingerprints.<br /><br />Further footage shows the police on the scene later in the day.
