A three-year old girl has died, days after sustaining serious burns about parts of her body.<br /><br />The child reportedly stumbled and fell into a boiling pot of lentils at her grandfather's roadside stall near her home in Williamsville.<br /><br />Despite relatives immediately taking her to hospital and her showing positive signs of recovery in the following days, Shazade Simon succumbed to her injuries at hospital on Monday.<br /><br />Reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh visited the community and spoke with relatives on Tuesday.
