The Chairman of UDeCOTT says the State-owned developer is evaluating a tender for the construction of the Ministry of Housing headquarters on Independence Square that he says will "represent the coming back of East Port of Spain as integral part" of the nation's capital.<br /><br />And that project is to be based on the Build, Own, Lease, Transfer arrangement used for the construction of the Health Ministry's new administrative complex.<br /><br />The announcement was made during a tour of the site of the new Port of Spain General Hospital's Central Block.<br /><br />Political Editor Juhel Browne has the details.
