[Retired] stars … they’re just like us!

Bridget Fonda, 59, was spotted by the paparazzi during a rare outing as she made her way through Los Angeles International Airport Monday night.

Amid her return from her travels, the former actress — who quit show business more than two decades ago — sported dark-rimmed reading glasses atop a makeup-free face and had her gray hair pulled back into a low ponytail.

Dressed casually in a gray-and-white-striped cable-knit sweater and black sweatpants, which she paired with sneakers, Fonda and her 18-year-old son, Oliver Elfman, made their way through the busy terminal.
They were snapped rolling their own suitcases, carrying their own bags and taking an escalator to the ground floor.

Upon making their way to the outside curb, they chatted and scrolled through their phones as they waited for their ride.

Just as Fonda’s black SUV pulled up, one particularly eager paparazzo approached her with some inquiries.
Everyone wants to know if you wanna make a movie back in Hollywood,” the man asked, to which Fonda — who scurried by as quickly as she could — replied, “No.”

“Is there a chance?” he pressed, eliciting the same response with the addition of a head shake.

The pap then praised the film star for her “iconic career” — which she left behind in 2002 to start a family with her now-husband, Danny Elfman — and reminded her that she starred in “some of the greatest movies,” which include “The Godfather Part III,” “Single White Female” and “Jackie Brown.
Hardly flattered, Fonda once again shot down the man’s question, explaining, “It’s too nice being a civilian.”

Confidently, she informed him that there is no director who can convince her to make a comeback and then slammed the car door shut.
Fonda comes from a long line of legendary actors.

Her aunt is two-time Oscar winner Jane Fonda, whose brother is Bridget’s late father, Peter Fonda.
In fact, Bridget made her big-screen debut in her dad’s 1969 movie “Easy Rider” when she was 4.

Additionally, her grandfather Henry Fonda won an Academy Award in 1982 for his role in “On Golden Pond.”

Bridget has been spotted only a handful of times since she stepped back from the spotlight.

In January 2022, on her 58th birthday, the Golden Globe nominee was seen for the first time in 12 years while running errands in LA.
She was photographed in the same capacity earlier this month.

In 1993, Bridget told Movieline that she often questioned whether she would be “more at peace” if her family name had not gotten her foot in the proverbial door.

“I wonder what it would feel like to know that you’ve made it completely under your own steam,” she shared at the time.
