Drawing manga is incredibly popular here, but until recently even professionals were mostly self taught. That’s changing, with schools springing up to teach manga techniques, and in another major change, social media now provides an easily accessible alternative to print. We’ll visit the largest manga posting site, and meet a young artist who gained an audience online so big she turned pro in high school.
