Collingwood star Beau McCreery is officially an AFL premiership winner - but he lost plenty of fans for his conduct on stage when receiving his grand final medal.<br /><br />McCreery, 22, brutally left an AusKick junior footy player hanging when the youngster looked to shake his hand after the final siren.<br /><br />The awkward moment wasn't missed by sections of fans at the MCG, who widely booed the Magpies forward.<br /><br />The young gun was also roasted by irate footy followers on social media.<br /><br />'Beau hung the little kid out to dry. Gave him donuts. There's always one,' one supporter fumed.<br /><br />Another posted: 'Beau McCreery was [clearly] thinking more about doing his little ‘call me’ schtick instead of shaking the kid’s hand.<br /><br />A third footy fan spoke for many when he posted: 'No doubt Beau would want that moment back.'<br /><br />Collingwood's epic four-point win will forever be remembered as an AFL classic.<br /><br />As they have done all season, Craig McRae's men owned the big moments in a thriller and left the brave Lions pondering what might have been.<br /><br />Magpies star Bobby Hill - who overcame testicular cancer last year - snared the Norm Smith Medal after booting four goals. <br /><br />Skipper Darcy Moore branded the win 'surreal' - and now has done what his Magpies great father Peter missed out on by winning the flag. <br /><br />Peter Moore remarkably played on the losing side in the 1977, 1979, 1980, and 1981 VFL deciders. <br /><br />'It’s so surreal. I grew up a Collingwood supporter,' Darcy Moore said. <br /><br />'So much work goes in for so long, so much has to go right to pull it off. And we did it.'
