Police have launched a murder investigation after a triple-stabbing in Halifax.<br /><br />Emergency services raced to reports of the serious assault in the town centre at 3.48am this morning (Sun).<br /><br />Three men were found to have sustained knife wounds.<br /><br />One of the victims died in hospital, whilst another is said to be in critical condition.<br /><br />The other sustained a serious but not life-threatening stab wound.<br /><br />In a statement, West Yorkshire Police said: "There is a significant police scene in place in the town centre while police conduct specialist searches and forensic enquiries.<br /><br />"The public and local businesses are thanked for their patience at this time.<br /><br />"The investigation is in its very early stages and further information will be released in due course."
