Tropical cyclone Jenny (international name: “Koinu”) has become a typhoon while over the Philippine Sea on Monday, Oct. 2, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).<br /><br />In its 5 a.m. bulletin, PAGASA said Jenny had maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gusts of up to 150 kph.
