Birmingham headlines 3 October: Gunman Jervais Boyaram jailed for life for shooting dead wrong man in Birmingham<br />A man has been given a life sentence for murder after shooting an innocent man in a case of mistaken identity. Jervais Boyaram had intended to take revenge on a group of youths he had rowed with earlier before executing Muhummed Sohail at point blank range.<br /><br />A man has been charged after a teen was stabbed outside James Watt College last week. Following questioning, Vacoy Farrell has been charged with wounding and possessing a bladed weapon on educational premises. The 16 year old victim has since been discharged from hospital.<br /><br />Opentable have selected 13 of Birmingham's best restaurants in their new Restaurant Impact Report. The study heaps high praise on Birmingham's dining scene for it's diversity. Noel's Bar & Restaurant, Medicine Baker and Gallery and Gaijin Sushi made the top three in the list.
