The Trinidad and Tobago Manufactures Association has expressed no objection to the increase in the minimum wage set to take effect on January 1st.<br /><br />And the Finance Minister said he was glad to get that kind of feedback from the business community since the Government had to be careful in implementing the measure.<br /><br />Meanwhile, one economist is suggesting another goal should be pursued where the minimum wage is concerned.<br /><br />Political Editor Juhel Browne reports.
