Typhoon Jenny (international name: Koinu) further weakened as it is now outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR), said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Thursday, Oct. 5.<br /><br />In its 5 p.m. bulletin, PAGASA said typhoon Jenny has maximum sustained winds of 140 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gusts of up to 170 kph, moving westward at 15 kph.
