It's one of the very rare, but always delicate collaborations of Berlin avantgarde trumpeter Axel Dörner [SWR Jazz Award 2006, Berlin Jazz Award 2019] and Tokyo based minimal trombonist Toshihiro Koike, this time interdisciplinary with painter Marcus Heesch.<br /><br />Realtime improvisation done in a heterarchic mind-set at David Adam's atelier in Berlin on 9th of March 2004: call it brass meets brush, the japanese title means "Night of the Frogs".
