A white van man who was filmed catching up with his favourite TV show while driving along a major motorway has been nicked by undercover cops.<br /><br />The driver was seen staring at the programme, which was playing on his mobile phone, as he hammered along the M1, near Rotherham, South Yorks.<br /><br />Police, who were travelling in an unmarked HGV, videoed the dopey driver glancing several times at the programme as it played on a device strapped to his windscreen.<br /><br />And despite the officers peering through his window, his attention seemed firmly fixed on the show.<br /><br />One police officer could be heard saying on the recording: “He’s watching some kind of TV show. I can see him glancing to the left as well while he’s driving.<br /><br />“His attention is clearly on that screen rather than looking at the road ahead. He’s not even noticed me next to him.” Video via SWNS.
