RUBY WALSH was left in awe of this racehorse after he saved a trapped jockey from serious injury in a terrifying stall incident.<br /><br />Cian MacRedmond was stranded upside-down after his mount Dream Today got unsettled ahead of the 5f sprint at the Curragh in Ireland.<br /><br />But when the stalls opened and the other horses charged out, the eight-year-old gelding remained perfectly still.<br /><br />For a few awful seconds, apprentice MacRedmond was left helpless - as the threat of a 500kg horse charging over him remained.<br /><br />But he was fortunately able to get himself the right way up and out of the stalls before the horse moved again.<br /><br />Legendary jockey Walsh - who knows a thing or two about being unseated - was among those floored by the horse's awareness.<br /><br />Commenting on Racing TV, he said: "He is so lucky the horse stayed where he did. Pat the horse.<br /><br />"What a Christian of a horse!<br /><br />"His leg is caught up on the sides of the stalls - that could have been so nasty.<br /><br />"We go on about jockeys looking after horses. That is a horse looking after a jockey."<br /><br />Another who witnessed the incident said: "Not sure I've seen anything like this in all my days going racing."<br /><br />The Adrian McGuinness-trained Dream Today had been a 28-1 chance in the contest won by 18-1 Tawaazon.
