It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the City of Little Rock announces the death of City Manager Bruce T. Moore. City Manager Moore passed away peacefully overnight in his Little Rock home. He was 57.City Manager Moore was the longest-serving city manager in Little Rock history. During his time in service to the residents of Little Rock, City Manager Moore personified servant leadership. He earned awards and accolades from across the country and around the world for his effective management, organization and expertise. He was dedicated to improving the City of Little Rock and to making life better for 2,500 municipal employees and for the residents and visitors to the state’s Capital City. He will be greatly missed.City Manager Moore began work for the City of Little Rock more than 35 years ago, first as an intern and then as assistant to the mayor and assistant to the city manager. He was named assistant city manager in 1999 and became City Manager in 2002.
