Former WFAN host Mike Francesa slammed the Giants in a post on X on Saturday for not protecting quarterback Daniel Jones, who will miss Sunday’s game vs. the Bills with a neck injury.<br />“Before the Giants concern themselves with getting Jones a No.1 receiver maybe they should concentrate on keeping him out of the hospital,” Francesa wrote.<br />Head coach Brian Daboll announced before practice on Friday that Jones will miss Sunday night’s game.<br />Jones suffered the injury while being sacked during the fourth quarter of the Week 5 loss to the Dolphins.<br />“I think he’s getting better, but not good enough to play for this game,” Daboll said.<br />There was initial hope Jones would be able to play and that he would avoid the same kind of neck injury that forced him to miss six games in 2021.
