Close-up video footage shows red paint splattered on BBC headquarters before it was cleaned - following a visit from a vandal in the early hours.<br /><br />Pictures and video have emerged from immediately after the building on Langham Street was doused with paint.<br /><br />An eyewitness working nearby spotted the paint around 2.30am, not long after the vandalism took place.<br /><br />It is yet unknown if the act is linked to the ongoing conflict in Israel.<br /><br />They said: "The doors were very well covered, it seems the vandal had circled back several times.<br /><br />"Police arrived within minutes and blocked off the entrance.<br /><br />"I don't know anything in terms of intentions, I can only try to put two and two together, but it's very strange."
