Since the announcement of McDonald's to send thousands of free meals to Israeli soldiers, Arabs have announced a massive boycott campaign against the American fast food company.<br /><br />McDonald's shares fell sharply following the boycott announcement. However, Arab branches released statements claiming that McDonald's companies in the Arab countries are 100 percent belong to Arab investors. <br /><br />Furthermore, McDonald's was not the only one being boycotted by Arabs, social media users were also shocked to see the statement made by the Walt Disney Company confirming the donation of $2 million to "humanitarian efforts" in Israel. Many other firms were also targeted by the boycott campaign including Coca-Cola, Pepsi and Starbucks.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Egyptian football star Mohammed Salah lost 1 million on Facebook after his silence on Israeli attacks on Gaza.
