China to send youngest-ever crew to space station

The Shenzhou-17 module carrying the three space travelers is scheduled to blast off at 11:14 a.m. (0314 GMT) on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023, from the Jiuquan launch site in China's arid northwest. The all-male trio will be led by Tang Hongbo -- in his forties -- on his first return mission to the Tiangong space station. He will be accompanied by Tang Shengjie and Jiang Xinlin, both in their mid-thirties and each making their maiden space voyages on the Shenzhou-17 mission.

PHOTOS BY AFP

Subscribe to The Manila Times Channel - https://tmt.ph/YTSubscribe

Visit our website at https://www.manilatimes.net

Follow us:
Facebook - https://tmt.ph/facebook
Instagram - https://tmt.ph/instagram
Twitter - https://tmt.ph/twitter
DailyMotion - https://tmt.ph/dailymotion

Subscribe to our Digital Edition - https://tmt.ph/digital

Check out our Podcasts:
Spotify - https://tmt.ph/spotify
Apple Podcasts - https://tmt.ph/applepodcasts
Amazon Music - https://tmt.ph/amazonmusic
Deezer: https://tmt.ph/deezer
Stitcher: https://tmt.ph/stitcher
Tune In: https://tmt.ph/tunein

#TheManilaTimes
#tmtnews
#space
#china
#astronaut
