Co-driver to Carlos Iscar in a Renault 5 Turbo, José Lumbreras, 31, died after his vehicle burst into flames following a crash during the 12th edition of the Oris Rally Clàsico, a historic rally held at Puerto Portals, Islas Baleares, Spain.<br /><br />The accident occurred on Saturday, 12 March 2015, around the 5-kilometer mark of the ninth special stage of the rally, Coves de Campanet. The car hit a stone wall before crashing into a tree, and immediately caught fire. José Lumbreras was killed at the scene. Seriously injured, Carlos Iscar was taken to the Clinica Palmaplanas Palma de Mallorca.<br /><br />In consequence of the tragedy the rest of the day's special stages were cancelled.<br /><br />R.I.P
