As the vegan lifestyle drastically grows in popularity, the Mandarin Oriental recognizes that veganism is not limited to food and beverage alone. In their vegan room, all fabrics are non-chemically treated, the bedsheets are 100% organic and biodegradable, and the staff cannot enter the room in leather shoes.
