A New South Wales woman who says she was abused by a catholic priest has won a High Court challenge that clears the way for her to sue the church. The court has overturned a permanent stay on a negligence case against the Lismore diocese. The stay was imposed by the New South Wales court of appeal. Lawyers say today's high court ruling is a landmark decision.
