First Minister Humza Yousef refuses to answer questions regarding Whats App messages to waiting media after today FMQs<br /><br />First Minister Humza Yousaf is faced questions from opposition leaders today at the weekly Q&A session at Holyrood<br /><br />Scottish Conservative leader Douglas Ross questioned Mr Yousaf over reports that most WhatsApps sent by government ministers during the Covid pandemic have been deleted<br /><br />Mr Ross suggested that deleting the messages before they can be handed over to the UK and Scottish Covid inquiries could potentially be illegal<br />The FM pointed to his predecessor Nicola Sturgeon's daily Covid briefings as evidence of the government's accountability and transparency<br />He also said the government is in the process of handing over 14,000 messages<br /><br />Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar asked Mr Yousaf to take personal responsibility for ensuring the government complies in full with all requests from the Covid inquiry
