<br />After more reports of pirate threats at sea, central fishermen protested this week, prompting a meeting with members of the coastal support unit of the TTPS on Thursday.<br /><br />However, despite fishermen saying the 10am meeting was confirmed while they gathered Thursday morning, it was then cancelled and no reason given.<br /><br />The MP for Couva North joined the heads of the various fishing associations in central Trinidad for a news conference, asking why and exactly who called it off. <br />
