Martial Law survivors, led by Samahan ng mga Ex-Detainees Laban sa Detensyon at Aresto (SELDA) and Campaign Against the Return of the Marcoses to Malacañang (CARRMA), alongside other human rights defenders, held a protest at the Supreme Court on Thursday, Nov. 9, to appeal for the affirmation of the Sandiganbayan 5th Division's five-year-old conviction of Imelda Marcos on graft charges.<br /><br />Additionally, they called for the immediate release of Gerardo de la Peña, who, at 84, is the country's oldest political prisoner and a survivor of martial law.
