Manchester's iconic christmas markets are returning for 2023 on Friday November 10 and will be open all festive season, with some stalls serving food and drink until December 31.<br /><br />It is the Markets 25th year - and as in previous years - they will be taking over locations across the city centre, including Piccadilly Gardens, Market Street, Cathedral Gardens and more. <br /><br />There will be 225 market stalls and each location will be unique in terms of what is on offer, with Piccadilly Gardens - also known as Winter Gardens for the festive season - being the main hub with its scandi-style tipi complete with log fire and entertainment every night.<br /><br />If you're keen to explore our famous Christmas Markets this year, all the stalls will be open until December 21 daily - with food and drink stalls closing at 9pm.<br /><br />The markets are highly anticipated every year, and some people in Manchester are excited about the atmosphere they bring for the festive season.
