A teenager from the Shawlands area has been missing since Friday 10 October after leaving a note for his mum saying he needed to clear his head. <br /><br />15-year-old Winston Hastings Kearse did not attend school that day and left his mother’s home without his phone, bank card or any money - the only possessions he took were two teddy bears. <br /><br />He is 5ft 5in in height, of slim build with dark hair. <br /><br />Next up, a body has been found in the River Kelvin one month after a woman went missing in the area following an incident. <br /><br />Emergency services were called on 11 October reporting concern for two people who went missing near the water while a man was subsequently rescued.<br /><br />A search has been underway since for the 58-year-old woman, though a formal identification of the body is yet to take place. <br /><br />And in other news, a local woman has completed her six-month pilgrimage from her home in Glasgow to Rome where she met the Pope on arrival.<br /><br />Geraldine McFaul walked an average of 12 miles per day to raise funds for Mary’s Meals and Demential UK. <br /><br />She was met by her loved ones in Rome who had flown over to celebrate the journey. <br />
