Hamas loses control of Gaza, says Israeli Defense minister<br /><br />Israel's Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, says Hamas lost control of Gaza after 16 years. He mentioned this on Israeli TV without proof. According to Israel, Hamas attacked southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, causing 1,200 deaths, mostly civilians, and taking 239 hostages.
