Tyson Fury dubbed Oleksandr Usyk an 'ugly little sausage man' as he hurled insults at his Ukrainian opponent ahead of their press conference confirming their long-awaited clash. <br /><br />The Gypsy King was due to tussle with Uysk on December 23 after nearly a year of negotiations between the two camps. <br /><br />But plans were hurriedly rescheduled after Fury was tested against Francis Ngannou in October's 'Battle of the Baddest' in Riyadh. <br /><br />The MMA star took the British fighter the distance in 10 rounds, even dropping the lineal heavyweight champion to the canvas - but Fury eventually saw off his opponent to claim victory by split decision. <br /><br />Fury and Usyk - who was ringside to watch his foe's less-than-perfect performance in Saudi Arabia - are set to confirm a new date for their meeting at a press conference on Thursday afternoon, thought to be February 17. <br /><br />But ahead of linking up on stage, Fury was full of fire as he crossed paths with Usyk and his camp ahead of time. <br /><br />Fury shouted at his opponent from a mezzanine as he spotted the Ukrainian being interviewed. <br /><br />The insult was soon flung back at him by members of Usyk's camp, who called up 'Sausage! to Fury in response. <br /><br />Fury continued, with a man in Uysk's setup compelling the Morecambe-based fighter to 'come to try it'. <br /><br />'Ugly boy. You ugly little man,' Fury continued to taunt his rival. 'Ugly little sausage man.' <br /><br />Fury later told the members of Usyk's team calling back at him to 'shut up sausage' before continuing on his way. <br /><br />In the build-up to their contest, Fury has frequently referred to his opponent using the moniker 'sausage', but hostilities were suspended in Saudi Arabia ahead of Fury's clash with Ngannou.
