Inside Australia's World Cup final celebrations: Pat Cummins brings the trophy into the dressing room before quickly posting an Instagram as players dance to Freed From Desire

Australia was crowned World Cup champions on Sunday and fans were lucky enough to get looked at their dressing room celebrations.<br /><br />Travis Head's outstanding century carried Australia to World Cup glory for the sixth time as they downed all-conquering India to silence over 110,000 home fans in Ahmedabad.<br /><br />The hosts brushed aside all-comers - including Australia in their opening group game - as they marched to the final with a 100 percent record, but came up short in a six-wicket loss in front of an enormous but increasingly morose crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium.<br /><br /><br />Captain Pat Cummins then lifted the trophy in front of a disappointed and dissipating crowd.<br /><br />He then proceeded to bring the cup into the ecstatic dressing room and spark further celebrations.<br /><br />Centurion Travis Head was seen enjoying a moment alone with the trophy after his match-winning display.<br /><br />The players then proceeded to jump up and down and sing along as Freed From Desire ran out on the speakers.<br /><br />Cummins then got his phone out to post a picture of the moment he lifted the trophy to his Instagram before the squad posed for further photos. <br /><br />Pat Cummins spoke of reaching the 'pinnacle' of cricket after Australia claimed their sixth men's World Cup title and, with it, broke the hearts of a nation. <br /><br />'That's huge, that's the pinnacle in cricket, winning a World Cup, especially here in India,' said Cummins, a captain who this year won the World Test Championship and retained the Ashes. 'These are the moments you remember for the rest of your life.'
