The Guyana-Venezuela border controversy is occurring as this country has been seeking the acquisition of the supply of natural gas from Venezuela.<br /><br />It is also occurring at a time when Guyana is experiencing a crude oil and natural gas boom.<br /><br />Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley is calling for peace, as he says he Quote "would not like to see the relationship between Venezuela and Guyana deteriorate to a point where consequent actions would negatively damage all of us because all of us would be damaged ."
