The six-bedroom facility in Queanbeyan will provide respite care for people aged 18 to 60 with a terminal or chronic illness.<br />It was the dream of the late community campaigner Yvonne Cuschieri whose son Steven died of brain cancer in 2013 before she passed away from lung cancer in 2021.
