Firefighters crawl across frozen lake - to rescue a stranded deer.<br /><br />Crews from the Prior Lake Fire Department in Prior Lake, Minnesota, USA, were called to Pike Lake.<br /><br />The animal could not stand up on the slippery surface of the ice so the firefighters used poles to push it to the edge.<br /><br />Prior Lake Fire Department arrived after receiving calls from neighbours regarding the deer. <br /><br />The city of Prior Lake said on Instagram: "Neighbors called PLFD to report a deer stuck on Pike Lake. <br /><br />"It was struggling to get off of the thin ice. Firefighters put on their protective gear and carefully crawled across the ice. <br /><br />"They were successfully able to push the deer to shore.''
