The most frequently performed play on French stages to this day is "Cyrano de Bergerac". It was written by Edmond Rostand, who wrote lengthy verse dramas in Paris.<br />However, the society of the Belle Époque wanted to have a good time. This forced Rostand to write light entertainment. His romantic comedy about the ghostwriter of love became a worldwide success.<br />And it is precisely this Cyrano who has already crossed our path in many places in Bergerac, but lures us to Cambo-les-Bains in the Basque Country.
