Just when you thought it was safe....! A 'very large' shark was captured on video off the UK coast.<br /><br />Rebekka Werren, 26, who spotted the shark tight in to the promenade in Penzance, Cornwall, said it was "great to see up close".<br /><br />Video appears to show the large dorsal fin of a shark cutting through the water.<br /><br />Rebekka was visiting the Penzance Promenade with her partner and parents when the 'Jaws' moment drew a crowd of curious spectators. <br /><br />Content creator and photographer Rebekka, from Plymouth, Devon said: "It was really interesting.<br /><br />"We’d been watching it for a little while when I took the video - first thoughts were that it was very large to be that close to shore. I wish I’d filmed it when it was closer in! <br /><br />"There were plenty of people around and a few others were watching it as well."<br /><br />It is not known what species of shark the fin belonged to. <br /><br />Large basking sharks are often seen off the UK coast, but only during the summer, as they migrate to warmer waters during the winter months.<br /><br />The video was shot on Sunday (10 December).
