A mass brawl broke out and five players were sent out in stoppage time of Wednesday's Turkish third-division clash between Bursapor and Diyarbekispor.<br /><br />Tempers erupted in the closing moments of the match when a visiting player celebrated his goal in front of home supporters. Things quickly turned into an all-out brawl between both sets of players.<br /><br />Turkish football is already dealing with the fallout from recent high-profile violence after a referee was punched in the face by MKE Ankaragucu president Faruk Koca.<br /><br />The official was hospitalized as a result before being discharged while Koca resigned from his role and the season was suspended before eventually resuming.<br /><br />Further violence broke out in a Turkish volleyball match that saw players and coaches attacked by spectators with glass and plastic bottles.<br /><br />This latest incident on Wednesday is another damning example of violence spilling into sporting arenas.<br /><br />Players, coaches, and technical staff at Bursapor's Timsah Arena were involved in the ugly scenes that resulted in riot police being deployed and spectators trying to get onto the pitch.<br /><br />A melee of home players can be seen aiming kicks and punches at members of the opposition standing in the dugout while others try to intervene.<br /><br />Futile efforts to calm the ensuing chaos fail and players including Bursapor goalkeeper Deniz Aydın can be seen trying to punch and kick opposition players.<br /><br />Hosts midfielder Bilal Guney was the worst offender as he tried to aim a flurry of kicks and punches at another player who was being separated by security staff and police.<br /><br />20-year-old Guney refused to calm down and after initially pushing a riot officer out of the way, proceeded to evade other security personnel before charging at another player.<br /><br />More level-headed teammates then drag him away back to the pitch while other violence carries on in another area of the pitch.<br /><br />Scenes eventually settle enough for the referee to give his verdict and proceed to send off five players as a result, three from the visitors and two from Bursapor.<br /><br />Visitors, Diyarbekispor, went on to record a 2-0 victory at the bottom of the table side.
