A report into South Wales’ fire and rescue service has found it tolerated sexual harassment among staff members. A probe was launched in 2023 after allegations of sexism and abusing behaviour towards staff. Chief fire officer Huw Jakeway apologised, and said he will be stepping down from his role.<br /><br />NHS patients have been warned of mass disruptions to services when junior doctors take industrial action for three days later on this month. Non-emergency procedures will be paused during the strikes on the running from 15th January, which could see more than 3000 doctors withdraw their labour.<br /><br />Flood warnings are still in place after storm Henk battered much of Wales, as the met office say there is a danger to life. Rivers across Wales have risen dramatically with the Ritec in Pembrokeshire reaching its highest level ever, and roads have been closed across a number of countries around the country.
