A Happy New Year is guaranteed for theatre fans with the curtain raised on building work for an additional stage at Lowther Pavilion Theatre & Gardens.<br />Construction on its highly-anticipated 150-seat Education Centre & Studio Theatre began as the venue staged Jack and the Beanstalk, which broke its pantomime box office records.<br />BUY TICKETS: Tickets for its 2024 panto, Snow White, are now for sale online at lowtherpavilion.co.uk, call 01253 794221 or buy in-person.<br />While the first performance of this year’s pantomime took to the stage, inside Lowther’s historic theatre, construction of the additional live performance area began at the back of the venue.<br />The steelwork for the building went up over the festive period.<br />Bosses say this new space will help to keep Lowther at the heart of the Fylde community for generations to come.<br />
