The British High Commissioner to this country says "some people imprint themselves on the consciousness of a country and" she thinks former Prime Minister Basdeo Panday "did just that in Trinidad and Tobago."<br /><br />But the British High Commissioner also reflected on the connection Mr Panday had to the United Kingdom, while she spoke with the media after signing a condolence book in memory of the former Prime Minister at the Red House on Thursday.<br /><br />Juhel Browne reports.
