Two men have been arrested on suspicion of kidnap after a woman was seen in distress in Balsall Heath. Police were alerted after the woman was seen being forced into a car. Witnesses attempted to help. Officers identified the woman who suffered minor injuries.<br /><br />Serial rapist Dean Holness from Kings Norton who carried out a string of depraved sex acts against women and girls has been jailed for 20 years. A court heard he played truth or dare with three victims prior to assaulting them. One of his victims was just 15 years old.<br /><br />An urgent appeal has been launched to save St Paul's Church in the Jewellery Quarter. Around £660,000 is needed for urgent roof repairs at the church which was consecrated in 1779 and nestled in Birmingham's last Georgian square.
