Fans are in stitches after seeing how Darwin Nunez and Ibrahima Konate reacted to a now hat-less pitch invader during Liverpool's 2-0 win over Arsenal.<br /><br />Two late goals sealed Liverpool's place in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday evening as Mikel Arteta's side paid the price for missing several huge opportunities.<br /><br />After absorbing so much pressure, Jurgen Klopp's men pounced on Arsenal's lack of firepower in front of goal, when Jakub Kiwior headed into his net from a Trent Alexander-Arnold free-kick.<br /><br />Moments later, a pitch invader went over to celebrate with the likes of Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, and Darwin Nunez.<br /><br />And as the away support punched the air in delight, Nunez proceeded to slap the fan's head not once, but multiple times, while embracing Alexander-Arnold.<br /><br />As well as a sore head, the pitch invader may be feeling the cold chill on his way home this evening after defender Ibrahima Konate launched his hat into the stands.<br /><br />"Creasing at Konate ripping that fan cap off and chucking it away," said one fan, while another commented: "Nùñez battering the poor lad too."<br /><br />A third added: "This was the best moment of the game."<br /><br />Luis Diaz soon capped off an impressive second-half performance from Liverpool, when he smashed in a breakaway goal in the final minute of added time.<br /><br />Shortly after the final whistle, Jurgen Klopp said Arsenal could have won it "without a doubt", while a frustrated Mikel Arteta made his feelings known on who came out on top.<br /><br />"Merit-wise, performance-wise, there is no question who deserved to win the game," the Spaniard said.<br /><br />Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher also reacted to the result, saying: "Winning today wasn’t my priority for the team, it was no injuries or replay, but once the game starts you can’t help but be desperate for the win.<br /><br />"Huge result, but what could be pivotal for Liverpool.... it looks like the real Luis Diaz is back in these last two games."<br /><br />Liverpool will host Fulham on Wednesday night in the EFL Cup semi-final as title hopefuls Arsenal enjoy a much-needed rest. They come up against Crystal Palace on January 20.
