However, he couldn't keep it down. <br /><br />As a result, the ball pinged off the crossbar and looked as though it would go down as another miss on Salah's penalty-taking record.<br /><br />However, thankfully for the Egyptian international, the ball hit the backside of the goalkeeper (who had dived in the correct direction) and bounced into the net. <br /><br />Salah looked relieved but a little embarrassed about how the goal had come about. Nevertheless, Egypt celebrated their second goal of the goal. <br /><br />Salah's status as Liverpool's undisputed penalty taker was threatened after he missed a penalty against Newcastle on Monday night.<br /><br />Salah had the opportunity to break the deadlock when Luis Diaz was taken down inside the box.
