Veteran actor Andre Braugher passed away at the age of 61 on the 11th of December 2023, following a brief illness. Braugher was arguably best known for his role on the hit crime drama "Homicide: Life on the Street" and in more recent years, fan-favorite cop comedy "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." Fans of the latter show have been particularly vocal in the wake of the star’s passing. Now, a number of Braugher’s co-stars, including Terry Crews and Chelsea Peretti, are paying tribute and getting honest about how much this loss “hurts.”<br /><br />Over the past several hours, there’s been nothing but praise aimed at Andrew Braugher. On Nine-Nine, he played the role of stern, but humorous police captain Raymond Holt. It should come as no surprise that his fellow B99 alums – many of which worked alongside him for eight years – had sweet thoughts to share about him. Terry Crews, who played the imposing and thoughtful Terry Jeffords on the show, took to Instagram to pay his respects to Braugher.
