This is the moment a hero rescued a woman and her baby from a car partially submerged in a water-filled ditch.<br /><br />The sheriff's deputies of Flagler County, Florida, USA, smashed the car's window to rescue a baby whose head was "barely above water" and a woman who was bleeding heavily. <br /><br />The concerned deputies can be heard saying: "I've got a female bleeding heavily, heavily bleeding. She's bleeding and I see a lot of blood on her."<br /><br />Deputies Lichty and Prevatt attended the scene after the crash was reported on January 5.<br /><br />The Flagler County Sheriff's Office said: "When deputies arrived, they found a dazed and bleeding male outside of the vehicle and noticed that an adult female and small child in a car seat were still trapped inside the vehicle just above water."<br /><br />The Palm Coast Fire Department, which arrived shortly after, took the child out of the car.<br /><br />The woman proved more difficult to extract and the deputies and firefighters had to work as a team to pull her from the vehicle.<br /><br />The Sheriff's Office added: "The child, who was alert and conscious, was turned over to firefighters and paramedics for evaluation and treatment. <br /><br />"Deputies then worked as a team with firefighters to rescue the female from the vehicle."<br /><br />All three of the people were handed over to paramedics, who then transported them to AdventHealth-Palm Coast hospital. <br /><br />The investigation into the crash is now in the hands of Florida highway patrol.
